Four players were in double-figures as sophomore RaeQuan Scott led the way with 20 for the Bobcats who were shorthanded, missing numerous players due to injury. With just seven healthy players, Buffalo relied on solid execution to pull ahead and pull away from the Knights in the second half.
Scott knocked down three triples as Buffalo had seven in the game and outrebounded Berkeley 52-42. Sophomore Kalon Kimble had a career-high 18 rebounds to go along with 17 points. Denzel Fuller also had a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Freshman Nahshon Sylvester impressed with 18 as well in his first career-start, finishing one rebound shy of a double-double.
