O'Neill averaged 19.3 points on 48 percent shooting (20-42), 4.7 steals, 4.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds over a three-game stretch for St. Joseph's. The freshman guard opened his week flirting with a near triple-double (11 points, 9 steals, 7 assists) in only 14 minutes against The King's College. He followed that by scoring a career-high 20 points against Brooklyn College, only to best that mark with 27 points against Berkeley, which included a game-tying triple with 19 seconds remaining, before the Bears fell on a last-second shot.
