Louison scored his 1000th career point for St. Joseph’s as they defeated borough rivals Brooklyn College in their lone game of the week. The junior forward poured in 30 points, one shy of a career high, reaching the milestone in 71 games with a three-point play in the final minute to help the Bears to their first win over the Bulldogs since 2006. Louison shot 12-of-16 from the field and 6-of-9 from the stripe, coupling it with 10 caroms for his seventh double-double of the season. The four-time Player of the Week this season ups his scoring average to a career-high 17.5 points per game and is shooting a career-best 49.8 percent from the field.
