The ESF Mighty Oaks hosted its final regular season game on Wednesday, Feb. 5. Prior to the game against visiting Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS), a brief ceremony was held to recognize three departing ESF seniors – Harrison Cox, James Squier and Steven Nemec.

Following the senior ceremony, the Mighty Oaks took on one of the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's top teams this season in ACPHS. The Panthers got out to a quick start and took a double-digit lead and held it until the second half. After the teams exchanged leads late, the game went into overtime with ACPHS barely getting by ESF by an 82-80 final.

The Mighty Oaks had a better shooting percentage from both beyond the arc and in the field, but the Panthers had two-more free throws than ESF and shot 20-percent higher from the charity stripe that in the end proved to be the difference in the contest.

ESF had three double-digit scorers that included a game-high 21 from Henry Pflaumer, 15 from Logan Ameele and 14 from Zachary Dormer. Ameele added a team-high five assists, while Dormer registered a pair of blocks. Cole Paradies finished as the team leader in rebounds with nine; not far behind was Ameele with seven boards.
