Macchiarelli scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, and added two assists to lead Albany Pharmacy to a thrilling 4-3 victory over Springfield Technical Community College in the opening round of the NHTI Invitational on Saturday. Just two minutes into overtime, the sophomore forward scored his second goal of the game in the opening match of the season for the Panthers.
