Tournament Champions

St. Joseph's College

St. Joseph's College won their fourth straight HVWAC tournament title on the strength of a three-hit shutout by Lisa Scheer in the semifinals and a one-hit shutout by Alyson Chiaramonte in the championship. The Lady Bears were powered by five home runs in the tournament highlighted by Tournament MVP Jillian Troise who hit for the cycle in the semifinal.

Jillian Troise earned 2012 HVWAC Tournament Most Valuable Player honors, helping to lead St. Joseph's to their fourth straight title, batting 4-for-5 with six RBI and three runs scored. In the semifinals, Troise blasted her first career home run and completed for the cycle with a 4-for-4 game, becoming the first Lady Bear to ever accomplish the feat.
