Cambel collects back-to-back Rookie of the Week honors helping The College of New Rochelle to an unblemished 3-0 week, highlighted by the team’s successful defense of its Dr. Betty Shabazz Tournament championship. The freshman guard posted two huge games setting a new school record with seven three pointers, converting 7-11 from beyond the arc, and totaling a game-high 25 points against Old Westbury. Cambel backed up that performance with 22 points in the championship game win over Yeshiva University, connecting on six more triples.
