Kauffmann completed the 5K course at Van Cortlandt Park in 21:08 to finish in 2nd overall out of 128 runners at the Queensborough CC Invitational. In her season debut, she finished just 18 seconds behind the day's winner and paced the Gryphons to 4th overall in the team competition.
