IT'S GREAT TO GET THE MONKEY OFF OUR BACKS
MEDIA, PA "It's great to get the monkey off our backs." Bill Bogue, Men's Head Soccer Coach The Bobcats prevailed with their first win of the season against King's College at the Bill Denney Memorial Tournament - Penn State Brandywine. "It was "a 3-2 win over a strong, well-disciplined and experienced team." Coach Bogue continued.
The Bobcats overcame two 1 goal deficits and eventually took the lead. Junior Depina scored the first goal assisted byu David Kiraba as he slipped a ball through the back line. Tajay Brahman tied up the game a second time as a big ball from left back, Jesse Banda, skipped past the King's center backs and Brahman calmly made a move on the goal keeper and evened the score. The winning shot was scored by Depina as he received a brilliant through ball from Orlando Leon. Depina confidently placed the ball past the out-stretched hands of the King's goal keeper.
