Men's Volleyball Player of the Week

Raul Urshela, St. Joseph's

Senior • Middle Blocker • Orlando, Fla.

Urshela collects the final Men's Volleyball Player of the Week honor this season after pounding 17 kills while setting a new St. Joseph's record .520 hitting percentage in a conference win over Webb. 

Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Brandon Ryan, Pratt

Freshman • Outside Hitter • Belchertown, Mass.

Ryan dished out a career-best 28 assists (9.33 per set) in a three-set match to lead the Cannoneers to a straight-set victory over Cooper Union on Saturday. The freshman receives Rookie of the Week honors for the sixth time this season and for the third straight week.

Men's Tennis Player of the Week

Jonghee Lee, Culinary

Freshman • Seoul, South Korea

Lee picked up a pair of wins in singles and doubles position in helping the Steels to a conference win over Webb. The freshman bested his No. 3 singles opponent 10-2 and teamed up with Zehn Laliwala to win 8-2 at No. 1 doubles as Culinary improved to 2-1 in league play this season.

Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week

Zehn Laliwala, Culinary

Freshman • Bangalore, India

Laliwala led Culinary to a 9-0 league win over Webb playing at the top of the Steels lineup in singles and doubles. The freshman was victorious at No. 1 singles, 8-2, and teamed up with this week's Player of the Week Jonghee Lee at No. 1 doubles for a 10-2 triumph.

Softball Player of the Week

Jackie Perillo, St. Joseph's

Senior • Outfielder/Pitcher • Howard Beach, N.Y.

Perillo wins Player of the Week honors for the second straight week after a 3-for-4 effort with two RBI and her second home run of the season in a losing effort to John Jay. 

Honor Roll

David Cutler, Pratt • Men's Volleyball

The four-time Player of the Week slammed 13 kills with 16 digs in a straight-set victory over Cooper Union.

Chris Licato, Webb • Men's Tennis

Licato led the Webbies in defeat playing at the top of the lineup in both singles and doubles in dropping a league decision to Culinary.

Carlos Mayorga, St. Joseph's • Men's Tennis

Mayorga secured his first collegiate singles win downing his No. 6 singles opponent from Lehman in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4, to capture the lone point for the Bears in the match.

Cody Owen, Webb • Men's Volleyball

Owen had four kills, seven assists, six aces, two blocks and three digs against St. Joseph's.
