The rookie came up with a late penalty-kick save to go along with five on the day against nationally-ranked No. 2 SUNY ESF; preserving a 2-1 win.

Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week

John Ulusoy, Vaughn

Freshman • Forward • Astoria, N.Y.

The freshman scored a brace on his debut in Vaughn's 2-2 draw against Word of Life/Davis; the Warriors' first match since October 2019.

Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Claire Maring, SUNY ESF

Junior • Forward

Maring bagged a brace on four shots in the Mighty Oaks' win over Five Towns.

Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week

Jordan Tobin, Five Towns

Sophomore • Goalkeeper • Massapequa, N.Y.

The sophomore shot-stopper produced 16 saves against SUNY ESF and nine in a close contest against Old Westbury.

Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

Samantha Klozik, King's

Senior • Outside Hitter • Plymouth, Mich.

Finished the Lions' three-match week 41 digs, 20 kills, and three service aces; which included 16 digs and seven kills in a win over Five Towns.

Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week

HaileyPaige Gilroy, King's

Freshman • Libero • Memphis, Tenn.

In a 2-2 week for King's, the Tennessee native has 31 digs, four assists, and as many service aces; including 20 wins and three aces against Five Towns.

Fired off seven shots in a 1-1-1 week for the Huskies, including a hat trick against Culinary.

Angel Chavez, Five Towns • Men's Soccer

Scored the Sound's game-winner against No. 2 SUNY ESF

Eduardo Lopez, Culinary • Men's Soccer

The sophomore notched both goals in the Steels' victory over The Cooper Union, reclaiming "The Campbell Cup."

Jacob Detwiler, Culinary • Men's Soccer

The goalkeeper kept a clean sheet in CIA's 2-0 win against The Cooper Union.

Emily Angelastro, Five Towns • Women's Volleyball

The libero brought up 41 digs to go with a pair of kills and service aces through two matches for the Sound.

Jana Hunt, Five Towns • Women's Volleyball

Totaled 11 kills and 28 digs, along with one service ace in two matches for Five Towns.

Jessica Bolton, SUNY ESF • Women's Soccer

Scored an unassisted goal in the first half of their win against Five Towns.
