NEW ROCHELLE, NY – The College of New Rochelle's bats have begun to heat up with the weather, and produced the Blue Angels' best offensive series in the season, totaling 15 runs in a HVIAC double header against Yeshiva University Sunday morning at Flowers Park.

In the opener, Yeshiva arrived with hot bats, and scored 11 runs in the top of the first to put CNR in a deep hole.  The Blue Angels scored in their half of the frame as Tiany Perez Diaz singled leading off and scored later in the inning on an error.  CNR scored three more times in the bottom of the second on an RBI single from Perez Diaz, an RBI groundout from Rita Saad, and a wild pitch.

In the fourth the Blue Angels replicated their second inning scoring effort, plating three more runs highlighted by a Shamella Bartholomew RBI single.

The second game saw Yeshiva again take the early lead, taking a 7-2 advantage into the third inning.  The decisive third frame saw each team push across six runs.  The six run inning was the best for the CNR offense this season.

Kylie Thesz walked to lead off the inning and scored on a Saad single. Kirstein Labaso and Tanika Charles each added an RBI single to pace the offense.
