Zavgren played a critical role on offense and defense in a 1-0-1 week of HVIAC play. In the backfield, the rookie captain anchored a defense that played two scoreless games and held opponents to a combined two shots on the week. On Wednesday, Zavgren notched her first career goal, the Gryphons' second in a win over Medgar Evers. Zavgren played complete games in both contests.
