Basaldua rallied to gut out a critical come-from-behind No. 5 singles victory over Yeshiva, winning 4-6, 7-6, 16-14 in a 6-3 season-opening win over the Maccabees. She also earned victories at No. 5 singles against Ramapo and Baruch, starting her college career at 3-0.
