Penney led Culinary to a victory in the first HVIAC contest of the season -- a 3-1 triumph over King's -- posting 15 kills against only one error for a .438 hitting percentage. The senior middle hitter from Succasunna, N.J. averaged 4.9 points per set as the Steels split their matches at the St. Elizabeth tri-match.
