Three HVMAC Teams Headed for USCAA Basketball Championships

The Husdon Valley Men's Athletic Conference will be well represented at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Basketball Championships with three teams headed to Uniontown, Pa. for the tournament taking place this week on the campus of Penn State Fayette.

League champion Berkeley College (15-7) has earned the No. 3 seed for the Division II tournament and were the national runner up in last year's championships. HVMAC tournament runner up St. Joseph's (16-11) will make their fifth appearance all-time and first since 2007 earning the No. 8 seed in the Division I tournament. Albany Pharmacy (13-6) qualified for the national championships in their first year of membership in the USCAA and takes the No. 8 seed in the Division II tournament.

In total, 34 teams will descend on Uniontown as the USCAA will crown four national champions, two men's and two women's teams in two divisions. First round action begins on Wednesday, February 27th with play concluding with the championship games on Saturday, March 2nd.
