POUGHKIPSEE, N.Y. - On Sunday, April 3, the Vaughn College men's tennis team was defeated by Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) opponent Culinary Institute. The Seels of Culinary Institute were last seasons runner-up in the HVIAC Championships. This was the first game of the season for the Warriors. The men's tennis team competed valiantly in six singles matches and three doubles matches.

Ahmed Aly (Astoria, NY) and Isaiah Ervin (Waterbury, CT) were bright spots for the Warriors. Both players scored three points against their opponents in their single matches.

The men's tennis team will be back in action on Saturday, April 9, when they take on Pratt Institute.
