Ellis helped the Blue Angels repeat as champions of the Women's College Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Notre Dame of Maryland University and was named Tournament MVP after averaging 23.5 points and 10.5 rebounds during wins over Cedar Crest and Notre Dame (Md.). In just 22 minutes of action in the championship, the senior forward poured in 24 points on 7-of-10 shooting while adding nine rebounds, four steals and two assists.
