Ellis posted a monster week averaging 21.7 points, 24.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 3.3 steals and 1.7 blocks per game in helping The College of New Rochelle to a 3-0 week, including repeating as Dr. Betty Shabazz Tournament champions. The senior captured Tournament MVP honors dropping 25 points, 27 rebounds eight assists and three steals against Old Westbury in the opening round and following it up with a near triple-double 28-point, 27-rebound, nine-assist, three-block effort in the championship over Yeshiva.
