Leading 29-14 on Friday Night,  the Panthers used a strong team defensive effort to blow their conference game with Vaughn open and cruise to a 68-28 victory in front of their home crowd.

Ball movement and teamwork helped blow the game open as all 12 panthers scored and contributed in what was total team effort. Freshman Lindsay Lombardo and Sophomore Allie Mitchell both connected on pivotal three pointers and the Panthers never looked back.

Sophomore Abbey Healey, who made her first start of the season, led the team with 13 points. Freshman Katie Walker continued her hot streak, scoring nine points and handing out 5 assists to go along with 4 steals.

Strong defensive performances by Seniors Morgan Esperti and Miranda Costin helped keep Vaughn's leading scorer Maia Rivers contained. Rivers finished with a game high 24 points for Vaughn in the loss.

The Panthers improve their overall record to 10-2 on the season and are currently undefeated in both USCAA and HVIAC contests. The Panthers have a quick turnaround as they will travel Sunday to NESCAC Power Hamilton College, for a 2pm tip.
