Aksoy compiled an unblemished record in Berkeley's wins over St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) and Vaughn to open the season. In the HVIAC win against Vaughn, Aksoy took a 10-0 win at No. 1 singles and 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
