NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - October 7, 2018 - The Pratt Institute women's tennis team was in control Sunday afternoon against the College of New Rochelle, winning 9-0 at the Pinebrook Tennis Center.
With the victory, the Cannoneers advances to 10-2, while the Blue Angels drop to 0-4.
Pratt was lead by strong play from Melanie Kania and Amanda Twu who won their doubles match (8-1).
The Cannoneers were impressive during singles play, as Amy Young, Maia Schlussel, Morgan Ferweda, and Isabel Campbell all were victorious, without dropping a single game combined.
Up Next: Pratt has earned the top seed in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in the playoffs, and will be hosting a semi-final match at the Pratt ARC on Sunday, October 14, as they begin the chase for their straight league championship.
