Men's Tennis: Pratt 5, Culinary 4

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY -- Pratt Institute improved to 3-0 in Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play and 4-2 overall with a 5-4 road win over the Culinary Institute of America Sunday afternoon.

Senior Sergio Yarritu improved to 4-0 on the spring with a 10-1 win over Jeremy Sawyer in top singles. Making his No. 3 singles debut, Nick Minichiello routed Robert Schuett 10-3, and Haotian Zhang earned a sixth singles win by default.

In doubles play, Yarritu and Minichiello teamed for the first time in upending Sawyer and Jonghee Lee in the No. 1 flight, 8-6. 

Pratt wraps up its first weekend of the spring 3-1, improving to 4-2 overall. The Cannoneers return to the court on Saturday, playing host to Berkeley (NY) College and Vaughn College in an HVIAC doubleheader starting at noon.
