All-HVIAC Men's Volleyball Team Announced; Cutler Named Player of the Year

NEW YORK  Led by Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year David Cutler (Calabasas, Calif.) of Pratt Institute, the 2015 All-HVIAC Men's Volleyball Team was announced at the conclusion of the HVIAC Tournament at Yeshiva University.

Cutler led the conference amassing 114 kills and 118 digs in all six league games this season, leading Pratt to a share of the best record in conference in their first year in the league. The sophomore outside hitter hit a consistent .231 and was selected as HVIAC of the Week a league-high-tying four times this season.

Yeshiva University sophomore Tuvia Marks (Los Angeles, Calif.) was named Rookie of the Year after receiving Rookie of the Week honors three times this season and compiling the highest hitting percentage in league play, hitting .341 while slamming a third-best 40 kills.

First-year head coach Jacqui Dauphinais of Yeshiva University was named Coach of the Year after guiding the Maccabees to their sixth-straight regular season title with a 4-2 record in league play.

This year's all-conference team consisted of five seniors. Of the seven-member team selected by the conference coaches, there were three repeat honorees and one three-time recipient.
