Men's Volleyball: Pratt 3, Webb 0

GLEN COVE, NY -- Pratt Institute (7-5, 3-2) earned a second Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference road win in as many nights, 3-0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-19) Friday at Webb Institute, gaining a share of first place in the process.

Outside hitter David Cutler and setter Brandon Ryan again led the way for the Cannoneers, the prior pounding 19 kills with only two errors over 30 attemtps and adding a match-high 22 digs. Ryan led all players with 18 set assists and two block assists as Pratt improved to 4-2 on the road.

Middle hitter Connan Moody chipped in with seven error-free kills on 15 swings. Senior outside hitter Alex Arsovski, who set a career high with 16 kills in Thursday night's 3-1 win at St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, stepped up on the defensive end Friday, notching a career best with 21 digs.

Sophomore setter Chris Fantin added 10 set assists for Pratt, as the Cannoneers wrapped up February as winners of four of five on the month.

At 7-5 overall and tied for first place in the HVIAC at 3-2, Pratt concludes its home-and-home series with Webb Thursday night at 7:30 at the ARC.
