NEW ROCHELLE, NY – Nine Blue Angels cracked the scoring column and all ten players tallied at least 15 minutes of playing time as The College of New Rochelle cruised to a 74-27 win over Vaughn College in a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup at the Wellness Center.
 
Jasmine Brandon paced all scorers with 21 points in 9-of-13 shooting while Jah-Leah Ellis added 12 points, eight rebounds and seven assists as CNR (12-7, 1-2 HVIAC) ensured its first winning season since the 1999-2000 season.
 
The College of New Rochelle earned the wire-to-wire victory, scoring 24 of the first 26 points of the game to open up a 24-2 lead with 9:14 left in the first half and maintained a big lead into the break, taking a 32-14 lead into the locker room.
 
In the second half, the Blue Angels gradually increased their lead, with the final score accounting for the largest lead of the game.
 
CNR converted 36 Warrior turnovers into 39 points, and the Blue Angel bench outscored the Vaughn bench, 32-0.
