The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference recognizes the following Student-Athletes for their performance in Week #2 of the 2022-2023 Men's and Women's Basketball season.

Rhalon Bragg (Sr., Guard) from Villa Maria College netted 19 points, snatched 7 rebounds and dealt out 3 assists in the Vikings victory over Penn State Shenango. His contribution earned him the honor of the Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

DeAnthony Price (Fr., Guard) from Vaughn College earned Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week status. Price put on an impressive display against Touro College, 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Unfortunately, the Warriors did not capitalize upon the efforts dropping the game 75-66.

Noteworthy honors go to, Villa Maria College's Bryant Rosa (Fr., Guard) who played a productive 15 minutes for the Vikings; 7 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. Villa Maria defeated Penn State Shenango, 78-72. And, Vaughn College's, Fabrizio Dottin (So., Forward) who posted a double-double (16 points, 15 rebounds) in a Warriors loss.

There were no selections on the Women's Basketball side of the HVIAC, as no games were scheduled during Week #2.
