Men's Basketball: Albany Pharmacy 104, King's 45

Albany, NY – The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Men's Basketball team faced off against the King's College (NY) on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Albert M. White Gymnasium at ACPHS. This was a key early season HVIAC contest for both teams. The Panthers and Lions came out of the gates and played heads up basketball. ACPHS began to control the opening half as Ryan McVaigh poured in 16 points and Alex Johnson added 12 points. The Lions were paced with 11 points from point guard Eil Davis. At the end the first half the Panthers secured a 46-26 lead.

As the second half began the Panthers continued their strong play and Ryan McVaigh continued his strong play. As the second half continued the Panthers lead grew and Head Coach, Brett Barnard, removed his starting five. At the end of the game, the Panthers came away with the 104-45 victory over King's College. Ryan McVaigh ended the game with 36 points and Brandon Votra finished with a double-double, 10 points and 10 rebounds. With the victory, ACPHS improves to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in the HVIAC.
