Men's Soccer: Vaughn 4, Davis 0

On Wednesday, September 28, the Vaughn College men's soccer team hosted the Davis College Falcons for their first home game of the season. The Warriors entered the game coming off a tough loss against Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) in their previous contest. The Warriors got out to a two goal lead in the first half and never looked back. Vaughn College defeated the Falcons 4-0 to pick up there second win in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC). 

Warriors' freshman forward Ali Saleh (Maspeth, NY) scored two goals against the Falcons. Saleh has scored three goals in the past two games. Denis Moshchenko (Brooklyn, NY) continued his hot streak scoring his third goal of the season off a marvelous assist from teammate Kevin Alvarado (Jackson Heights, NY). Yousef Alanazi (Woodside, NY) found the back of the net at the end of the game for his first goal of the season.

Hussein Saleh (Maspeth, NY) picked up his second win starting behind the goal, and first shut out victory for the rising Warriors men's soccer team.  

The win improves the Warriors' record to 2-1 overall. They will travel to the State University of New York (SUNY) Evironmental Sciences and Forestry (ESF) on Saturday, October 1. The Warriors will look to create some separation in an early tight conference playoff race.
