The Panthers continued their winning ways on Saturday, beating the Webb Institute Webbies 11-1. With the victory, ACPHS goes to 6-3-1 overall and a conference-leading 5-1 in the HVIAC. Webb drops to 0-5 on the year both overall and in the league.

The Panthers ran riot in the first half, scoring the game's first eight goals, including six in the opening 17 minutes. Freshman Noah Keith (Rotterdam, NY / CBA) got it started in the 6th, with a tap-in off a cross from fellow freshmanDylan Davie (Chittenango, NY / Chittenango). A minute later, freshman Austin Myers (Morrisonville, NY / Saranac High) got in the act with his second of the year from freshmen Steve Dumas (Flagstaff, AZ / Coconino) andSpencer Keable (Plattsburgh, NY / Beekmantown, NY). Davie scored one of his own in the 12th, with senior Zak Giorgi(Whitesboro, NY / Whitesboro High School) then netting his 11th and 12th goals of the year back-to-back.

Dumas would make it 6-0 in the 17th, with sophomore Reid LaPlante (Chateaugay, NY / Chateaugay Central High School) grabbing a 10-minute brace to finish the Panther scoring in the half. Webb's Galen Ng pulled one back on the stroke of halftime off of a misplaced pass from sophomore Kevin Frevele (Cooperstown, NY / Cooperstown High School). That is how the teams would head into the half, with a score of 8-1.

Austin Myers got his second of the day just five minutes into the second half, with Giorgi providing the assist. JuniorKyle Jenkins (Holbrook, NY / Sachem East High School) continued his hot scoring streak with a nice solo run off of freshman Nate Mackey's (South New Berlin / Unadilla Valley) first collegiate assist. The Panthers continued to press and were able to get one more goal from Laplante, which completed his hat-trick. Freshman Antonio Nassivera(Hudson Falls, NY / Hudson Falls) recorded his first collegiate assist on the goal. The Panthers recorded 16 shots on goal compared to Webb's 4, with Frevele making three saves and getting his first win of the season.

The Panthers travel to SUNY-Canton tomorrow with a chance to stretch their unbeaten streak to 7 at 3pm. Webb looks for their first win of the season against Vaughn next Wednesday, October 5th.
