The Vaughn College Warriors men's tennis team hosted the Culinary Institute of America Steels on Sunday, March 25. The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) opponents competed at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Center. This was the first match for the Vaughn Warriors this season.
It was a tough outing for Vaughn College. The Warriors gave tremendous effort but failed to earn points in their singles and doubles matches.
Freshmen Raphael Cordina (Stanford, CT) and Michael Panico (Ronkonkoma, NY) showed great upside in their collegiate debut. With more repetition and game experience they should have a good career ahead.
The men will be back in action on Saturday April 8. They will travel to SUNY Delhi to take on the Broncos.
