The TKC Women's soccer team claimed their place in the playoffs with a 10-1 win over the College of New Rochelle.

Stand out performances from 3 freshmen, Corrine Boonstra, Jaclynn Kelly and Stacy Phu contributed 8 of the goals with junior Maddie Tyler adding 2 more.

The end of the game saw sophomore defender Stephanie Cantarero receive a red card in the 85th minute after picking up her second yellow card of the game.

The team is now unbeaten in three games and will play in the HVIAC conference semi-final next weekend.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY - On Wednesday, October 18 The College of New Rochelle Blue Angels women's soccer team faced its last defeat in the conference standing against the King's College Lions. The Blue Angels last opportunity to qualify for the HVIAC Conference Tournament ended in a loss by a score of 1 - 10. 

The one goal that CNR was able to score was made by Jazmin Hernandez (Michoacan, Mexico) in the second half off a penalty kick. Hernandez also led the Blue Angels with six shots Other honorable mentions are Dar'Neisha Brice (California, MD) and Ana Gil (Guaynabo, P.R) each had one shot apiece
