NEW ROCHELLE, NY – The College of New Rochelle picked up its second HVIAC win of the season, defeating Vaughn College, 9-0, this afternoon at Beckwith Pointe Club.
 
The Blue Angels took the early lead, taking the two contested doubles matches and winning the third by forfeit.  Deanna Tozzo and Violet Lisi earned a point at #1 doubles with an 8-1 win and Kendra Michel and Samantha Gomez matched their point with an 8-2 win at #2 doubles.
 
CNR won all five singles matches played, with Tozzo posting a 10-0 win at #1 singles.  Lisi coasted to a 10-1 win at #2 singles, while Michel (#3, 10-3), Samantha Gomez (#4, 10-6) and Marie Gomez (#5, 10-4) also earned points.
