Albany, N.Y. – Seniors Alessandro Macchiarelli and Steve Sullivan scored two goals apiece to lead the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (7-3, 5-0 HVIAC) to a 7-0 win over the visiting Webb Institute (0-4, 0-3 HVIAC) in Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer action Sunday at the ACPHS Soccer Field. The Panthers have now won five consecutive matches.

ACPHS dominated from the opening whistle, out-shooting Webb 51-0 and putting the matter out of reach early with three goals in a stretch of two minutes and 42 seconds. Senior defender Colin Owczarzak assisted on two of the first three Panther goals, finding Sullivan twice as ACPHS led 3-0 by the end of the 13th minute. Macchiarelli scored the second goal off a Zak Giorgi assist.

Giorgi, a freshman striker, was involved in both of the next two Panther goals before halftime, tapping home an assist from junior midfielder Alex Perry-Ferrari in the 30th minute and hooking up with freshman midfielder Ebenezer Eshun on the latter's 38th minute goal.

After halftime, Macchiarelli scored in the 46th minute and freshman midfielder Malachi Deckerfound the net in the 60th minute to give the Panthers the 7-0 margin of victory. Owczarzak assisted the first second half score while Macchiarelli and Perry-Ferrari both helped on Decker's goal.

Senior goalkeeper Adam Hoye-Simek recorded his fourth shutout in the team's last five matches without even facing a single shot. Webb goalkeepers Tyler Totten and Ryan Fagan combined to make 13 saves for the visitors.
