JOHNSON CITY, NY – Pratt Institute men's soccer raced out to an early lead, but couldn't hold off the Falcons of Davis College as the two Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference programs tied 4-4 on Saturday afternoon at Davis College.

Following a quiet start to the match, Pratt's Noah Semus took a pass from Jack Nimmo and beat the goalkeeper to give the Cannoneers the lead at the 24-minute mark. Pratt would put an additional six shots on target in the first half, but could not capitalize as their 1-0 lead held heading into the half.

Shortly after intermission Davis would answer as a goal in the 47th minute would level the score 1-1. Pratt would respond just inside the hour mark, as Bryan Shimtook a pass from Michael South and found the back of the net to make it 2-1 in favor of the Cannoneers at the 58th minute. Shim's second goal, coupled with an unassisted score from Michael South, made it 4-1 Pratt with just under 15 minutes to play.

At the 83rd minute mark, Davis would begin to rally, as Morgan Edwards cut the Falcon's deficit to 4-2. Two more goals, the final in the 90th minute, would see Davis tied the match at 4-4 to force overtime.

In the extra frames, offensive output was scarce, as both teams struggled to find an offensive rhythm. When the final whistle sounds, the 4-4 result held and Pratt had to settle for the draw.

With the results, the Cannoneers and Falcons share identical 2-9-1 records.
