Women's Soccer: Albany Pharmacy 4, Yeshiva 0

TEANECK, N.J.— The women's soccer team was defeated by Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) 4-0 in a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup on Sunday afternoon.

The visiting Panthers led 1-0 at halftime, before tacking on three more goals in the second half to win by four.

Sarah Cope broke a scoreless tie in the thirty-fourth minute to make it a 1-0 score before halftime.

ACPH scored three goals within the first twenty minutes of the second half to distance themselves late in the contest. Second half goals in the final stanza were scored by Kayli Smith (46:23), Olivia Dubois (63:04) and Katie Parsels (63:59).

The Panthers held a 40-0 advantage on shots.

Yeshiva made 21 saves, including 16 by starter Ann Jaffe and five by reserve Elana Kook.

The Maccabees are back in action on Tuesday for their final HVIAC match of the season against Sarah Lawrence College at 8:30 p.m. at Silver Lakes Park.
