Women's Volleyball: Culinary 3, Yeshiva 0

NEW YORK, N.Y.— The Yeshiva women's volleyball team lost a pair of matches in a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) tri-match on Sunday. The Maccabees lost to St. Joseph's-Brooklyn 3-0 (15-25, 18-25, 15-25) and Culinary Institute of America 3-1 (16-25, 25-22, 12-25, 16-25).

In the match against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, the Maccabees were led by Jackie Berger with six kills and five digs, while Kerrin Ast added five kills and eight digs. Emily Rohan had 13 assists, nine digs and four service aces.

Against Culinary Institute of America, Berger and Ast had five kills each, while Makena Owens had 10 digs. Rohan had five service aces and 12 assists.

The Maccabees return to play on Tuesday for a match at Skyline Conference foe NYU-Poly at 8 p.m.
