Davis Tabs Rob Dickinson Head Men's Soccer Coach

Davis College welcomes Rob Dickinson as the new head coach of the men's soccer program for the 2015 season.  Rob brings with him tremendous experience as a player, trainer, and coach.  He has a strong passion for the game of soccer and a clear desire to help others reach their full potential.

Rob attended high school locally at Union-Endicott High School where he was a two time All-State soccer player.  Upon graduation he attended Herkimer County Community College where his team won the NJCAA National Championship in 2008.  In 2009, he held the title of team captain at Herkimer.  Rob then obtained a soccer scholarship to play NCAA Division II at American International College in Springfield, MA.

While attending American International College, Rob earned a Bachelors Degree in Interdepartmental Sciences and then a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.  He currently works for Jumpstart Physical Therapy, PLLC providing pediatric physical therapy to children ages 0-5 with challenges such as autism, motor delays, and sensory issues.

His professional soccer experience includes coaching the U11 & U12 Select Girls Team for the Greater Binghamton Futbol Club where the U11 team was ranked #1 in New York State West.  He has also helped coach with the Valley Youth Soccer Association in Sayre, PA with their U8, U10, U12 & U14 girls and boys travel teams.

Rob continued to play soccer after college for the Greater Binghamton Futbol Club National Premier Soccer League Thunder Team in 2012, 2013, and 2014.  During that span he also served as an assistant coach for players of the senior squad and the head coach for the players of the reserve squad.  He currently holds a National Soccer Coaches of America Level 6 Coaching Diploma.
