BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The men's soccer team suffered a tough 1-0 loss to Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (Albany Pharmacy) on Sunday, October 4. Albany Pharmacy entered the game tied for first place in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC), with a perfect 4-0 record. The Warriors were in fourth place in the HVIAC with a 2-1 record.

It was a scoreless game for 89 minutes. Both teams played with a defensive physical edge, eliminating scoring opportunities for the opponent. However a late mistake, clearing the ball away from the net, by the Warriors allowed Albany Pharmacy to score in the final 30 seconds of the game.

Though the loss drops the Warriors' record to 2-2 in the HVIAC they still remain in the final playoff spot for the HVIAC post season tournament. The men's soccer team will look to bounce back from the tough loss when they face the State University of New York (SUNY) Delhi Broncos on Columbus Day.
