The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference recognizes the following Student-Athletes for their performance in Week #1 of the 2023-2024 Men's and Women's Soccer season.

This week two male Student-Athletes share the honor of Men's Soccer Player of the Week.

Suad Lukovic of Berkeley College netted three goals in the first three games of for the Knights. His first two goals came in a 6-0 victory over Penn State Beaver and his third of the season was in a 5-1 win against Penn State Mont Alto. Lukovic's performance also earned USCAA Men's Soccer Player of the Week honor in Week #1.

Anthony Campos of Five Towns College shares in the honor of Week #1 HVIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week. Campos scored two of the four goals in a Sound victory against USCAA Division I opponent, Bryant and Stratton College Albany. The Sound over came a 3-1 goal deficit to defeat the Bobcats 4-3. Campos was recognized as USCAA Men's Soccer Division II Player of the Week for Week #2.

Berkeley College's Lucas Zuleta, is named Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week for Week #1. Zuleta scored two of the four goals in a Knights win over Brookdale Community College. In a 5-1 victory over Penn State Mont Alto, Zuelta racked up three assists during the match.

A note worthy performance was had by Calem Mason, from The Word of Life Bible Institute. Mason, registered three assists in a 8-0 Huskies win over Vermont State University Randolph.

This week both Women's Soccer Player of the Week and Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week are awarded to Alivia Jones from The Word of Life Bible Institute. Jones impressively scored a hat trick(3 goals) in the first thirty minutes of the Huskies season opener. WOLBI defeated Vermont State University Randolph with a final score, 8-0.
