In a repeat match-up of the 2021-2022 title game, Five Towns College once again bested Berkeley College to claim the HVIAC Women's Basketball Championship.

The Sound came into today's game as #1 seed and faced an athletic #2 seed, Berkeley College. The Knights advanced to the finals with a win over WOLBI in the semi-finals.

During the regular season, the Sound turned back the Knights 67-33, setting up a highly anticipated championship game. The score closer, but for the Knights the end result remained the same.

In the first half of play, neither team took a significant lead, but costly turnovers would impact Berkeley College. The Sound managed to take a double digit lead into the half with the score 40-27, forcing a total of 32 turnovers for the game.

The second half of belonged to the Sound as they outscored the Knights, 35-24. Judith Girones, Talaya Guirantes, and Jordan Tobin would combine for 64 of the Sound's 75 points; Girones with a game high of 26 points.

Keisy Villanueva, and Za'Nya Henderson would post double-doubles for the Knights.

Five Towns College finishes the season at 12-6 and a second conference title. Berkeley College finished 11-14.
