Men's and Women's Soccer Players of the Week (Week #4)

The Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference recognizes the following Student-Athletes for their performance in Week #4 of the 2023-2024 Men's and Women's Soccer season.

This week, the honor of Men's Soccer Player of the Week and his second of the season, goes to Suad Lukovic from Berkeley College. Lukovic netted two goals against two USCAA Division I opponents, including a game winner during Berkeley's victory over #1 ranked Bryant and Stratton College-Rochester. The Knights won two out of three matches during the week.

Berkeley College's Victor Batista is named Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week for Week #4. Batista posted two shut outs against USCAA Division I opponents, including a victory against #1 ranked Bryant and Stratton College-Rochester. The Knights went 2-1 during the week.

Note worthy performances were had by Angel Chavez and Sebastian Cuenca from Five Towns College. Chavez scored three goals on seven shots and posted an assist against the Word of Life Bible Institute. Cuenca registered five shots and an assist during the same match. The Sound defeated the Huskies 8-1.

On the Women's Soccer side of the HVIAC for Week #4, Jordan Tobin from Five Towns College earns Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors.

Tobin is credited with fourteen out of fifteen shots on the Sound goal. Five Towns College would tie the Word of Life Bible Institute 1-1.

This week Isabella Tanis from the Word of Life Bible Institute is named Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week. Tanis, scored the lone Huskies goal against Five Towns College and registered an assist against SUNY Adirondack, both matches ended in draws.

A notable performance was had by Anna Hauser of Five Towns College. Hauser is credited with the lone Sound goal against HVIAC opponent, the Word of Life Bible Institute.
